Chef Bobby Flay

After winning for the first time last season, Chef Bobby is determined to once again lead the Blue Team to Worst Cooks victory with these recruits.

The Blue Team

Joe, Carie, Danny, Muneerah, Lance, Danielle and Amber make up the Blue Team.

For Amber, the kitchen is an emotional place that she's avoided because it brings back memories of her late mother. All of Amber's dishes are bland or burnt, and her friends have even called her cooking worse than prison food. Amber hopes to one day be able to cook a delicious dinner for her kids.

Carie comes from a long line of Greek and Italian cooks, but, unfortunately, that tradition has stopped with her. Her cooking is so bad that for the past nine years she's relied on takeout and fast food for her kids. Carie is desperate to learn how to cook not only for the sake of tradition but for her family's health.

Danny longs for family dinners and home-cooked meals. He even has a scrapbook of recipes, but he gets flustered and scattered when attempting to put dishes together. He hopes one day to be able to pull off a successful meal for his wife and kids.

When it comes to cooking, Danielle's nerves often get in the way, so she's relied on frozen meals or eating out. But she and her husband, who's gained a lot of weight in the meantime, can't afford to eat out anymore. Danielle is afraid if she doesn't learn to cook she will pass her bad habits to her daughter.

Joe is the youngest in a large family of good cooks, and his grandfather was even a private chef. He is eager to start making healthy food that isn't bland and tasteless — and prove to his family that he can cook and carry on their food traditions.

Lance loves cooking and watches cooking shows religiously, so it came as a huge surprise to him when his family recently told him he is awful in the kitchen. He hopes his newly learned cooking skills will help him realize his dream of one day hosting a cooking show and writing a cookbook.

Whenever Muneerah is in the kitchen, the fire department is on speed dial because within five minutes of preparing a meal, the house is filled with smoke. Her cooking has even made her family sick. She wants to be able to make delicious, healthy meals that will sweep men off their feet.
