The secret to the best-ever French bread pizzas? Burrata cheese! Load up your bread with your toppings of choice (here I use bell pepper and pepperoni) and pop them in the oven. Once they're hot and crispy, top them off with piles of creamy burrata, a specialty from southeast Italy made by filling balls of fresh mozzarella with curds and cream. The combination of the hot melted mozzarella and the cool luscious burrata is a match made in heaven.
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Spread the marinara evenly over the cut halves of the bread. Sprinkle with mozzarella and top with bell pepper and pepperoni. Place the pizzas on the prepared baking sheet and bake until the mozzarella is melted and bubbling, 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove the pizzas from the oven. Top with the burrata and sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Slice and serve.
