This weeklong sales event promises to be packed with amazing deals across all categories — including home and kitchen, of course — and deals run July 6 to 13. What Is Walmart Plus Week?
Walmart Plus Week is one of Walmart's biggest sales of the year (similar to Black Friday or Cyber Monday), so you'll find discounted items in categories from appliances to apparel. You might remember Walmart Plus Week as Walmart's Deals for Days event in previous years, but the sale is back — and better than ever — with a new name.
When Is Walmart Plus Week and How Long Does It Last?
Walmart Plus Week kicks off July 6 with a 50% off offering on an annual Walmart Plus membership. On July 10, the sale will open up to Walmart Plus members for early access. Finally, on July 11, the general public will be able to shop Walmart Plus Week deals.
Do You Need to Be a Walmart Plus Member to Shop?
You do need to be a Walmart Plus Member to get first dibs on these limited-time deals on July 10, but the event opens to the general public on July 11 (unlike some other retailers). After a 30-day free trial, a Walmart Plus Membership costs $12.95 a month — though their first Walmart Plus Week deal is a 50% off annual membership, so you can sign up for $49 and snag the sale prices you're eyeing.
What Is Walmart Plus?
Walmart Plus is the retailer's loyalty program, and it has some similar benefits to Amazon Prime like free two-day shipping and access to free video streaming. Other perks include free delivery from your local Walmart store, savings at gas stations, and member rewards you can use on your next shopping trip.
