Banana Bisque

1 1/2 cups cream

1/4 cup butter

1/4 cup sugar

Pinch salt

1/4 vanilla bean

2 bananas, sliced

Serving Suggestion: Coffee ice cream or granita.


  1. Put all the ingredients in a pot, except the bananas, and bring to a boil. Chill overnight if making ahead of time. 
  2. When ready to serve, warm the bisque through and add the sliced bananas. Place ice cream or granite in the center of a shallow bowl and surround it with the warm bisque.
