The ease and speed of an air fryer makes cooking frozen chicken breasts to golden, juicy perfection a breeze, so you can even prepare them in the morning before work or school. You can cook two at a time -- just make sure not to stack them.
1 frozen boneless skinless chicken breast (about 6 ounces)
1 teaspoon olive oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
a 3.5-quart air fryer
Preheat a 3.5-quart air fryer air fryer to 380 degrees F and spray the basket with nonstick spray.
Drizzle the chicken breast with the olive oil. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon salt and a few grinds of pepper on both sides. Put the chicken in the air fryer basket and cook at 360 degrees F until an instant-read thermometer inserted in the center reads 165 degrees F, 18 to 20 minutes.
