The star of these mini burgers is the pimento cheese spread, with a kick from pepper Jack cheese and hot sauce. Burger patties spiced with ancho chili powder are topped with the pimento cheese, pickles and barbecue sauce and sandwiched into slider buns.

Directions
Puree the cream cheese, pepper Jack cheese, hot sauce, mayonnaise, pimentos and a pinch of salt in the food processor for the pimento cheese.
Shape the ground beef into 16 2-inch patties; season with ancho chile powder and salt. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add the patties and cook 1 minute per side. Serve the patties on the slider buns with the pimento cheese, barbecue sauce and pickles.
