BBQ shrimp is a classic appetizer that comes together in minutes. The BBQ refers to the tangy, buttery sauce. Melted butter is seasoned with garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Louisiana hot sauce, Creole seasoning and beer. After melding the flavors together, simply add shrimp and toss in the sauce until cooked through. Serve with sliced baguette to soak up all the delicious sauce.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring, until softened, 30 seconds. Add the Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, hot sauce, Creole seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, the beer and bay leaves. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook, tossing occasionally, until just cooked through and coated in the sauce, 2 to 3 minutes. Season with salt, if needed.
  3. Transfer the shrimp and sauce to a serving dish. Sprinkle with the parsley and serve with baguette slices.
