Spiked Root Beer Float Bar

1 pint chocolate ice cream

1 pint vanilla ice cream 

1 cup fudge sauce 

1 cup caramel sauce 

4 bottles hard root beer 

1/4 cup brandied cherries 


Special equipment:
8 chilled pilsner glasses
  1. Arrange all of the ingredients so the guests can help themselves.
  2. To make the float: Spoon two scoops of the ice cream of your choice into a chilled pilsner glass. Drizzle with a tablespoon or two of fudge or caramel sauce. Pour half a bottle of root beer over the ice cream. Top with a brandied cherry if desired.
  3. Serve with a long spoon and a straw.
