Charlotte A. Jenkins

Charlotte A. Jenkins grew up in Awendaw, South Carolina. She started cooking at the age of 9. Charlotte attended Johnson & Wales University’s School of Culinary Arts and after graduating in 1988, she started her own catering business. In 1995, Charlotte opened her restaurant, Gullah Cuisine; it later closed in 2014. In 2010, she published her cookbook, Gullah Cuisine: By Land and by Sea.

Dave Lieberman's love affair with food began as a child while watching his father cook for family in center city Philadelphia. This interest grew during his teenage years while working at various restaurants throughout Philadelphia. As a college student at Yale University, Dave enlisted friends to produce a local-access cooking show, Campus Cuisine, with Dave being the star. Dave enjoyed cooking on the show so much that he opened his own campus catering service.

Yoshi Okai

Yoshi Okai was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan, where he was introduced to the culinary world at a young age through his family’s catering company. In 1998 he landed in Austin, where he went on to serve as head sushi chef of Uchi, Uchiko, East Side King and Qui. In 2015 he joined the New Waterloo team as head chef of his 12-seat omakase restaurant, Otoko. In 2017 Okai gained national recognition when he was named Best New Chef by Food and Wine Magazine.

Danielle Sepsy is the chef and owner behind The Hungry Gnome Catering & Baked Goods in NYC. Her love of cooking began at the age of 13 when she started her own scone business out of her parents' home. But Sepsy is no one-trick pony: she has since received recognition for both her sweet and savory dishes. A graduate of Penn State University’s School of Hospitality Management and The International Culinary Center's Professional Culinary Arts program, she has managed several restaurants in NYC's most elite luxury hotels, including the Peninsula, Plaza, and Waldorf Astoria.

Ryan Scott

Ryan Scott’s vibrant personality and infectious smile burst onto the national culinary scene in 2007, with Bravo TV's Top Chef, where he is now a frequent guest. Scott is the chef/proprietor of the Bay Area-based catering company Ryan Scott 2 Go and the owner of a restaurant in San Francisco's Castro District. He's also the two-time Emmy award-winning host of Food Rush on ABC's Live Well Network and has made regular appearances on the Today Show, Rachael Ray Show, and Bar Rescue. When Scott is not directing one of his many kitchens, he enjoys spending time with his wife Lesley, his daughter Olive, and his two dogs, Pumpkin and Teddy.
