Chef Robert must create upscale hors d'oeuvres for a fashion show on a New York City garden rooftop. He has eight hours to design a menu, shop and prepare food for 200 - which seems like an easy task but getting through city traffic to go shopping will eat up half of his time! If this isn't tricky enough, he is given two sous chefs that may or may not be all that helpful.
There is chaos and confusion in the Appetizer Round as the chefs race to get their perch plated. Then in the Entrée Round, one chef is taken to task for undercooking meatballs, while another is left to explain how her plan for cheese crackers from the mystery basket went wrong. Two top chefs have just one night to create their own four-course menus and run the entire restaurant for a packed house, but only one will be rewarded the title of Executive Chef - a real job of a lifetime.

First, Guy Fieri has the grandmas cook their most requested family dish while sticking to the restrictions that a typical family member might complain about most. Then, the grandmas cook their celebratory dinners using two of the samples Guy has featured around the market. When all is said and done, one grandma will outdo the others to earn an automatic $15,000.

First, Jet shops for and cooks pork potstickers while also showing a simple trick for elevating frozen or homemade gyoza to the next level. Then, Jet prepares a comforting bowl of wonton soup and gives a complete rundown on all the different types of dumpling wrappers to be found at a local Asian market.
