Jingle Mingle

For a Chrismukkah dessert platter challenge, host Jesse Palmer asks the remaining seven bakers to make decorated Christmas cookies, rugelach, and traditional Hanukkah sufganiyot. In an unexpected twist, judges Duff Goldman, Nancy Fuller, and Kardea Brown do a blind tasting to decide who should make it into the upcoming all-important semifinals and who is eliminated.

Cookie Exchange Party

Host Jesse Palmer throws a holiday cookie exchange party, and the bakers must create flavor-forward seasonal cookies -- but no decorated sugar cookies or gingerbread allowed! Judges Carla Hall, Duff Goldman and Nancy Fuller decide the winner of the preheat in a blind tasting, and the bakers get to vote for their favorite cookie as well! Then, the bakers must rise to the occasion by making holiday cookie cakes that feature two different types of cookies, a minimum of four layers and a flavor twist to help wash it all down.

Laboratory Story, Part 1

Ten bakers explore the Chemistry Laboratory at Henson Labs, where the safety rating is negative 35. Lately, the spirits who haunt the lab have been demolishing all the beakers and petri dishes, so host John Henson leans into this devastation and tasks the bakers with creating broken glass desserts that feature sugar glass. Then, there's been a horrible spill in the Chem Lab, so John has a little fun with it and asks the bakers to create sinister bubbling desserts inspired by the toxic mess. Judges Carla Hall, Zac Young and Stephanie Boswell test their poison tolerance before sending one baker to the cryo-freeze.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Part 1

John Henson has a problem in the haunted Paranormal Research Lab, and he's hoping to summon the spirit of Beetlejuice to help broker a deal with the other spirits. To butter up the ghost with the most, John asks the bakers to make black and white desserts using black and white ingredients. Then, John challenges the bakers to create Shrinker desserts that feature a tiny desert on top and large dessert on the bottom. In the end, judges Carla Hall, Zac Young and Stephanie Boswell banish one baker to the cyro-chamber.

Messages From Beyond

Evil spirits are leaving creepy notes all over the manor, so host John Henson asks the bakers to channel the haunting energy of the entities by creating cryptic message desserts that reveal an eerie dispatch from the other side. For the first time this season, there is only one bake, which means everyone is baking for their lives. Judges Carla Hall, Zac Young and Stephanie Boswell must decide who wins $1,000 for their mysterious missive and whose message now reads "exit."

Welcome to the Holiday Village

Host Jesse Palmer welcomes 12 amazing bakers to the gorgeous holiday village, where the bakers are divided into the Nice Team and the Naughty Team. In each bake, there will be a top dessert from each team, and the best overall dessert wins for their team. In elimination challenges, the winning team is safe from elimination, and the losing team loses a baker. For the first preheat challenge, the Nice Team makes warm and toasty desserts, while the Naughty Team makes chill and frosty treats. Then, Jesse asks each team to create an edible holiday village that includes a dessert from every baker. Judges Duff Goldman, Nancy Fuller, and Kardea Brown decide which baker from the losing team will be eliminated.

Holiday Party Delights

To kick things off, nine bakers must create eye-catching and tantalizing new holiday treats for seasonal parties. In the pre-heat, bakers create a dessert with an unusual candy cane flavor and then, for the main heat, they use a holiday cocktail as sweet inspiration. One unlucky baker goes home.

A New Holiday Spin

The six remaining bakers are creating new takes on traditional holiday baking. Inspired by an internet baking meme, for the pre-heat they'll use yellow cake mix to make anything but cake. Then in the main heat, bakers must "holiday up!" a non-holiday dessert.

For Doom the Bell Tolls, Part 1

In this bloody terrifying premiere, host John Henson welcomes 10 bakers to the worst vacation rental of all time, a haunted mansion, with a gift basket of fruit ... that is dripping blood. For their first frightening challenge, the bakers must depict their number one Halloween fright and make it pump edible blood. Judges Carla Hall, Zac Young and Stephanie Boswell determine which pulsing sweet treat wins $1,000. Then, the bottom three bakers must bake for their lives by creating witch symbol desserts designed to ward off evil spirits in the house. In the end, one baker is eliminated.

Turkey Day Delights

Cranberries are the most popular accompaniment for turkey, so in the pre-heat, the seven bakers must make a dessert combining cranberry with another flavor of the season. To combat the sleepiness that follows Thanksgiving turkey, the main heat challenges the bakers to create a sweet treat that pairs coffee with an unusual flavor of coffee syrup.
