Chrissy Teigen is no stranger to food mishaps – from a peeled tongue thanks to her love of sour candy to nearly losing a finger while using a mandolin. If it’s happened to her, she shares it with her audience.

This time? Teigen needed a treat before bed – and enjoyed a late-night snack. But then suffered… an incident.

“I just lost my tooth in a Fruit Roll-Up,” Teigen said in a Twitter video, holding the evidence.

She later revealed in subsequent tweets that it was not a tooth she lost, but a cap. “Cap :( but I loved him like he was a real tooth.”

Fruit Roll-Ups are notoriously tough and sticky, and chewing does give a tooth a workout. But some would say the risk is well worth it.

Still, she may want to be more careful with her bedtime snacks. That looks like a painful dentist’s appointment she’ll have coming up!
