Great Jones' Most-Requested Dutch Oven Color Is Back — Just in Time for Mother's Day

The cookware brand known for chic, functional and colorful cookware is re-stocking their signature 'Dutchess' Dutch oven in ‘Taffy’, which is a perfect shade of millennial pink.

According to a brand representative from Great Jones, ‘Taffy’ (formerly released as 'Macaron') has been their most-requested color since it's limited-edition run ended last January. We're not quite sure how long the color will be around, but we're told they have limited inventory to ship in time for Mother's Day, which means you’ll want to shop now to ensure you get it in time. We're excited about this well-designed Dutch oven for lots of reasons. The enameled cast-iron design is great at retaining heat and is easy to clean (it's dishwasher-safe!). Plus, the oval shape makes it ideal for roasting turkey, chicken and other large cuts of meat. Oversized handles give you plenty of room to grip, even with an oven mitt, and we're loving the light gray interior, too. When testing Dutch ovens, our test kitchen preferred cookware with lightly colored enamel interiors as darker colors made it harder to caramelize accurately and determine browning and cooking progress. The roomy 6 3/4-quart size is so versatile, too — it's large enough to cook for a crowd or meal prep for yourself.
