Ingredients

2 dashes Angostura bitters

3/4 ounce sweet vermouth, Punt e Mes preferred

1/4 ounce apricot liqueur, Orchard brand preferred

2 1/2 ounces rye whiskey, Bulleit preferred

Ice cubes

1 maraschino cherry, or more to your liking, Luxardo brand preferred

Directions

  1. In a mixing glass, add Angostura bitters, sweet vermouth, apricot liqueur, and rye whiskey. Fill with ice and stir, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
