The Clover Club is rooted in Philadelphia's pre-Prohibition history. A group of distinguished gentlemen would gather at the Bellevue-Stratford hotel to drink this pretty pink cocktail of gin, lemon juice, and raspberry syrup.
NEW: You can now switch to Cook Mode to keep your screen awake.
Directions
Put lemon juice, raspberry syrup, dry vermouth, gin, and egg white in a cocktail shaker. Cover and shake (this is called a "dry shake," because there's no ice). Remove cover and add ice; then cover and shake again. Pour through a Hawthorne strainer into a chilled glass. Garnish with several raspberries on a pick.
