1 bone-in turkey breast half (about 2 pounds)

2 teaspoons vegetable oil 

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.


  1. Rub the turkey with the oil; sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper. Place on a baking sheet and roast until a thermometer inserted into the thickest part reads 160 degrees F, about 55 minutes. Remove from the oven and let rest 15 minutes; the turkey will continue to cook and the internal temperature should reach 165 degrees F.
