10 fresh raspberries

1 tablespoon sugar

1 tablespoon raspberry-flavored syrup

Juice of 1 lime

1-ounce to 2-ounces vodka

4 ounces cranberry juice

Ice, crushed

Sliced lime, for garnish


  1. In a large sturdy glass, combine the raspberries, sugar, raspberry syrup, and lime juice. Use a pestle to gently crush or muddle and mix the ingredients. Then add the vodka and cranberry juice. Add the ice and shake vigorously using a cocktail shaker. Pour the mixture back into the glass. Garnish with a slice of lime. Serve immediately.
