Cooking asparagus in an air fryer is quick and yields tender stems with crispy tips. They’re perfect for a weeknight or weekend side, especially with a brightening squeeze of lemon juice right before serving.
NEW: You can now switch to Cook Mode to keep your screen awake.
Directions
Special equipment:
a 6-quart air fryer
Put the asparagus on a baking sheet, drizzle with the olive oil, season with the salt and some pepper and toss to coat.
Add the asparagus to a 6-quart air fryer in 1 even layer (if the entire bunch doesn’t fit in 1 layer, cook in 2 batches). Cook at 400 degrees F until the asparagus are tender and the tips are crispy, 5 to 6 minutes (see Cook’s Note).
Transfer to a platter and serve with lemon wedges for squeezing.
Cook’s Note
Settings may vary on your air fryer depending on the model. Please refer to the manufacturer’s guide. The cook time will vary based on the thickness of the asparagus.
