Frozen grapes are a super refreshing summer treat that’s endlessly customizable. For this recipe, grapes are tossed with lemon and lime juice, then coated in a sweet and tangy chile-lime sugar mixture, echoing the flavors of the popular street food snacks served throughout Mexico. Make sure to dry the grapes well after washing, or the sugar will have a harder time sticking.

Directions
Whisk together the chile-lime seasoning, sugar and lime zest in a small bowl to combine.
Toss together the grapes, lime juice and lemon juice in a large mixing bowl until fully coated. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the grapes to a separate large bowl, leaving any leftover juice behind (discard). Sprinkle about half of the chile mixture over the grapes and toss to coat. Sprinkle over the remaining chile mixture and toss until the grapes are evenly coated. Transfer the grapes to a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer, leaving any chile mixture stuck on the bottom behind (discard). Freeze uncovered until the grapes are frozen solid, at least 4 hours and up to overnight.
Transfer the grapes to a serving bowl and serve immediately.
Cook’s Note
Lemons are more acidic than limes, so if you prefer your grapes on the sour side, swap out all the lime juice for more lemon juice. Additionally, if you want your grapes to be sweeter, swap out the lemon juice for equal parts lime juice.
