Directions
Put the crystallized ginger on a small plate. Wet the rim of a rocks or cocktail glass with the lime wedge, then dip the rim in the crystallized ginger. Fill the glass with ice.
Combine the vodka, cranberry juice, lime juice, elderflower liqueur, orange liqueur and Ginger Simple Syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds; strain into the rimmed glass.
Ginger Simple Syrup:
Combine the sugar, ginger and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook, stirring, until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat, cover and let steep for 30 minutes. Strain into a resealable container and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. Yield: about 1/2 cup
