This grilled corn is slathered with a gochujang sauce, creating a smoky, tangy, umami-packed flavor that pairs beautifully with the corn’s natural sweetness. The result is a balance of creamy heat and citrusy brightness, delivering a street food-style experience that feels both comforting and adventurous. It’s perfect for summer evenings, backyard gatherings or anytime you crave something vibrant, messy and irresistibly delicious. A sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds and fresh cilantro elevates it even further, making every bite more memorable.

Directions

  1. Whisk 2 tablespoons each mayonnaise and plain yogurt, 1 tablespoon gochujang, 1/2 teaspoon each fish sauce, lime zest and juice and 1 clove minced garlic. Shuck 4 ears of corn, rub with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill the corn over medium-high heat, rotating occasionally, until lightly charred and tender, about 15 minutes. Brush with the sauce and sprinkle with chopped cilantro and toasted sesame seeds.
