This chocolatey peanut butter and chocolate ice cream includes mini chocolate chips for rich bits of chocolate in every satisfying spoonful. It comes together with ease in a Ninja® CREAMi®, the countertop ice cream maker that’s gone viral on social media. Each serving of the incredibly light and velvety ice cream has 11 grams of protein per serving thanks to a protein boost from a chocolate-flavored high-protein shake beverage.

Ingredients

Directions

Special equipment:
a Ninja® CREAMi® ice cream maker
  1. Whisk the cream, peanut butter, sugar, peanut butter powder, vanilla and salt in a large bowl until combined and smooth. Slowly whisk in the chocolate-flavored protein shake until fully combined and the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Pour the ice cream base into an empty Ninja® CREAMi® pint of the ice cream maker. Place the storage lid on the pint to secure and freeze until completely solid, at least 8 hours and up to overnight.
  3. Remove the storage lid from the pint. Attach the pint to the Ninja CREAMi according to the manual instructions and secure the paddle. Select the ICE CREAM program and process. When complete, remove the pint from the machine.
  4. Using a spoon, create a 1-inch-wide hole that reaches down to the bottom and add the chocolate chips. Process again using the MIX-IN program.
  5. When complete, serve immediately.
