Fruit Cocktail, Sangria Style

1/4 bottle red wine

8 cloves

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 pear, diced

1 orange, peeled and diced

Whipped cream

Cocoa powder


  1. Add red wine in a pot over low heat, add cloves, sugar, to taste, and cinnamon. Bring to a simmer and cook just until all of the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and chill the wine. 
  2. In large martini glass, place the diced mixed fruits, then pour red wine to 3/4 of the glass. Add whipped cream over the fruits and sprinkle cocoa powder.
