2 1/2 ounces Fennel Vodka, recipe follows

1/2 ounce freshly squeezed orange juice 

2 dashes Angostura bitters 

Fennel fronds, for garnish, optional

Fennel Vodka:

2 cups vodka

1 teaspoon fennel seed 

1 cup fennel fronds and stems, roughly chopped


  1. Add the fennel vodka, orange juice and bitters to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Place the top on the shaker and shake for 1 minute. Strain into a chilled coupe. Serve garnished with a fennel frond floating on top.

Fennel Vodka:

  1. In a Mason jar, combine the vodka, fennel seeds and fennel tops. Cover and refrigerate for 1 week. Strain, then store in the refrigerator.
