1 handful (or 12 stems) fresh mint, washed and cleaned (you may substitute 2 tablespoons dry mint)

1 tablespoon green tea

8 cups boiling water

5 tablespoons sugar (use more or less, according to taste)

  1. Crunch mint with your hands in a large teapot. Put the crunched mint, green tea, and sugar into the teapot. Pour the hot water over it and let it rest for 2 or 3 minutes.
  2. Stir well. Fill up the first glass and return it to the pot, then serve.
