Pesto with a Southern Bite

1 1/2 to 2 cups basil leaves

1 1/2 to 2 cups collard greens

3 cloves garlic

2 ounces parsley

3/4 cup olive oil

1 cup grated Italian cheese

Salt and pepper to taste


  1. In a food processor, chop first four ingredients. To this mixture, add olive oil, cheese, salt and pepper. Mix and serve.
