2 cups all-natural cranberry juice

1 cup whole cranberries, fresh or frozen

1 (1-inch) ginger root, peeled

A long curl orange peel

2 whole cloves

2 cinnamon sticks

1 quart cloudy organic apple cider


  1. Combine the juice, cranberries, ginger, orange peel studded with cloves, cinnamon, and cider in a medium saucepan over low heat. Bring to a low simmer and steep the mixture for about 15 minutes. Discard the orange peel and cloves and pour into mugs to serve.
