Chef Cliff Crooks has been cooking in prominent kitchens throughout New York City for more than 20 years. Prior to joining BLT Restaurant Group in 2010 as Executive Chef of BLT Steak New York, he held positions at Salute!, Blue Water Grill and Gramercy Tavern. Chef Cliff has appeared as a contestant on Top Chef and a judge on Hell’s Kitchen and Chopped Junior and will also be seen on Food Network’s Tournament of Champions. After more than two years of leading the kitchen at BLT Steak New York, the hospitality group’s flagship restaurant, Crooks was named Culinary Director of BLT Restaurant Group and has since played an integral role in inspiring culinary growth among his staff while demonstrating a strong commitment to the brand’s ethos of exceeding expectations through outstanding food and hospitality.

Amanda Haas

Amanda Haas is Williams Sonoma’s Culinary Director, overseeing their test kitchen and cooking class programs. The test kitchen develops over 150 new food products and over 400 recipes every year for the website, and tests and develops all of the products you’ll find at Williams Sonoma. In her own time, Haas pursues her two biggest culinary passions—feeding her family and exploring the connection between food and health. She has written two cookbooks: The Anti-Inflammation Cookbook: the Delicious Way to Reduce Inflammation and Stay Healthy (Chronicle Books, 2016) and Cooking Light Real Family Food (Time Inc., 2012). Her next title is due in Spring 2019. Haas has also contributed to over a dozen other cookbooks, including the IACP Book of the Year A16 Food+Wine; SPQR; and Cooking in Everyday English. Her work has been featured in Sunset Magazine; The Everygirl; PopSugar Food; and MAKERS: Women Who Make America.Haas is also a cooking instructor and the host of Williams Sonoma’s online cooking videos. She is a graduate of Tante Marie’s Cooking School. She lives in the Bay Area with her two teenage sons. Grand Reopening, Part 1

Guy Fieri invites four of GGG's greatest chef competitors to the grand reopening of Flavortown Market for a two-part $25,000 tournament! In Part 1, the chefs have one hour to create two courses -- an appetizer and a goat entree -- and they must use a grocery list highlighting all the new store sections, including the butcher counter and deli manned by Guy's son Hunter. The judges score the chefs' appetizers using the all-new Flavortown Scoreboard. To finish their goat entrees, the chefs must first shop for one more item that starts with a G, O, A or T, and the chef with the lowest score doesn't make it to the finale.
