For the pre-heat, they must whip up two types of cookies, with one inspired by dear old grandma. Then, in the main heat, the bakers compete to create the best pie by hand -- no appliances -- just like grandma used to!

In this over-the-top finale, hosts and judges Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman ask the youngest final three bakers in the history of the show to make a championship-worthy, two-tiered cityscape cake that captures the quintessential sights of an assigned iconic city: San Francisco, New York City or Washington D.C. In the end, one baker emerges as Kids Baking Champion, winning a spot in Food Network Magazine and $25,000.

Picky Palates

It's a battle of the sexes as the teams must throw a birthday party for one lucky girl and boy. The teams interview the birthday boy and girl to determine what food they would each like at their party, with each team having to cook and serve the meals to partygoers. Rico Rodriguez from Modern Family will help judge the celebrities, with the bottom two battling it out in a sudden death elimination.
