Challenge: Giant Monster Bash

In the final challenge, the remaining four pumpkin carvers made a 5-foot-tall monster bash scene using Atlantic Giant pumpkins. The judges loved Danny's Footloose Frankenfloss scene, complimenting his use of lighting and noting how "absolutely adorable" the spinning jack-o'-lantern looked.

Willy's monster bash scene featured sparklers and a pumpkin disco ball.

Challenge: Undead Prehistoric Animals

This week the carvers were tasked with creating enormous undead prehistoric animals. Willy made a giant spider feeding on the heads of zombies. Alyson thought he really stepped up his game this week and showed the judges what he could really do.

Challenge: Pumpkin Trick-or-Treaters

Things literally heated up in the Big Carve round as the carvers had to incorporate an element of fire in a 3-D diorama depicting pumpkin trick-or-treaters. The judges thought Danny "nailed everything" in his structure depicting a mischievous pumpkin tossing his friend in a pumpkin-pie making machine.

David's jack-o'-lantern trick-or-treaters gathered around a bonfire and wore masks that disguised them as humans.

Monique's trick-or-treaters dressed up as a two-headed, fire-breathing dragon.

Challenge: Seven Deadly Sins

For the Big Carve round, each competitor was given one of the seven deadly sins to inspire their truly horrifying creation. Danny's design was inspired by pride and depicted a wicked witch influencer taking a selfie. Alyson noted that "the phone holder thingy" was incredible.
