Whether you’re preparing to move your kid into their college dorm or are shopping for that first care package, it's nearly impossible to think of everything. Don’t worry, though, Food Network editors have. We’ve compiled a checklist with all the kitchen and food-related essentials your college-bound kids will need — and it's all available on Amazon.
This new checklist feature makes shopping easy. We’ve compiled all the essentials for you, selecting our top product and a few back-ups, so option fatigue can be a problem of the past. Some of our essential categories include food storage containers — you know, to store the snacks you’re surely sending them — plates and bowls, water filters, microwaves and, of course, mini fridges.
We’ve broken the checklist into two categories (Kitchen Essentials and Kitchen Appliances), which separates the big-ticket items (appliances) from the simple essentials (think sponges, dishwashing soap and trash bags).
Now that your kid is on their own (potentially for the first time), you can make sure they have everything they need to make the kitchen feel like home, even if it's down the hall.
