This year, at-home cooking projects have reigned supreme. From the resurgence of baking bread to the joy of sipping fluffy Dalgona coffee, it seems like the best way to keep the whole family entertained lately food. If you’re looking for the next family food project to transition from summer to the start of the school year, we have just the thing: the easiest ice cream sandwiches ever.

After baking a batch of your favorite cookies (or, hey, store-bought works too!), whip out a pint of ice cream and some sprinkles because the Cuispro Ice Cream Sandwich Maker makes homemade ice cream sandwiches beyond simple. First, you’ll add a layer of cookie, punching out one of three shapes: a star, heart or circle. With the cookie still in the tool, scrape in a layer of ice cream then finish with another layer of cookie before popping the sandwich out push-pop-style. (Don’t be afraid to go heavy on the ice cream — it’s your sandwich, after all!)
When testing this tool, we found it works best with softened ice cream. Once you’ve built the sandwich, pop it back in the freezer until you’re ready to enjoy. All pieces of the tool are top-shelf dishwasher-safe, so you don’t worry about clean-up after you’re done making these fun, bite-sized treats.
We got creative, adding sprinkles to our vanilla ice cream and sugar cookie sandwich. We also paired double chocolate cookies with chocolate ice cream, but we encourage you to go for whatever combo you can think of — there are no limits when it comes to dessert!
