These Cult-Favorite Ice Cream Sandwiches Are Coming To Target
Five of the brand’s flavors are rolling out across the country — including the one that sold out at Costco in a week.

Fans can’t get enough of Nightingale, the playful, ultra-creamy, super-tall ice cream sandwich brand. When Nightingale debuted its Cookie Monster flavor at Costco last year, it sold out within a week. But now, there’s another place to get your fix: Target.
What are Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches?
Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches was founded in Richmond, Virginia in 2016. Its “sammies” are known for their rich ice cream filling (made with 14-percent butterfat) and house-made cookies that stay soft even when frozen. The brand is also known for its impressive lineup of flavors, including Banana Pudding, Key Lime Pie and Chocolate French Roast. Nightingale drops a few seasonal, limited-edition flavors twice a year. (This author is currently craving the new fall flavor, Apple Cider Donut.)

Which Nightingale flavors are coming to Target?
Four of Nightingale’s most popular flavors — and one new one — will be arriving at Target:
- Brookie Dough (new): Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream sandwiched between one chocolate brownie cookie and one chocolate chip cookie
- Cookie Monster: Vanilla ice cream swirled with chocolate cookie crumbs sandwiched between two chocolate chip cookies
- The Classic: Vanilla bean ice cream sandwiched between two brownie cookies
- Strawberry Shortcake: Fresh strawberry ice cream sandwiched between two brown sugar cookies
- Chocolate Blackout: Chocolate ice cream swirled with chocolate ganache and chocolate cake pieces, sandwiched between two chocolate brownie cookies
All five flavors will be sold in four-packs in the brand’s “chomp size,” which are roughly 2.6-ounce square sandwiches, or half of the full-size bars.

Which Target locations are stocking Nightingale?
Starting this month, Nightingale is rolling out to select locations nationwide, including stores in the Northeast, Denver and Dallas.
“This is another dream come true for our small but mighty ice cream sandwich company,” the brand says in announcement post on Instagram.
