Amazon's New Private Label Could Lower Your Grocery Bill
Most Amazon Grocery products are under $5!
Amazon has just launched its own in-house grocery brand called Amazon Grocery, and it’s one you’ll definitely want on your radar. Available on both Amazon’s main website and Amazon Fresh, it features over 1,000 products, including fresh produce, seafood, canned goods, pantry staples and fun snacks for the whole family. Best of all, it’s focused on quality products that are affordable, too, with the majority of offerings coming in at under $5 – which is excellent news for all of us trying to navigate rising prices with tighter budgets.
While the new private label brand is called Amazon Grocery, if you’re already an Amazon Fresh customer, you may recognize some familiar favorites repackaged, such as their oven-roasted turkey breast or decadent bite-sized brownies. That’s because Amazon Grocery joins Amazon Fresh and Happy Belly products underneath this new umbrella, while also introducing some exciting new products, too. Those new launches include ooey gooey cinnamon rolls, bottled spring water, pizza dough, granola and expanded offerings from their already existing canned bean, deli meats and frozen vegetable lines. The new brand packaging has 50% less plastic than the previous products' packaging, too.
"With Amazon Grocery, we're simplifying how customers discover and shop our extensive private label food selection while maintaining the quality and value our customers expect and deserve," said Jason Buechel, Vice President of Amazon Worldwide Grocery Stores and Chief Executive Officer at Whole Foods Market. And with expanded offerings and affordable prices, we’re excited to shop the line. We’ve highlighted some finds below.
