'Tis the season to enjoy platters of festive cookies! What better way to spread holiday cheer than with cute, warm, homemade cookies decorated with sprinkles, coconut shavings, chocolate chips, candies or whatever your favorite cookie recipe calls for. Baking is a sweet winter activity that sets a celebratory mood, especially as we get further into the holiday season.

The holidays are always an occasion to make events extra special, as some of us will be hosting gatherings with friends and family or looking for a kid-friendly activity to fill your day. If you’re celebrating with a smaller group or having a quiet, solo holiday, cookies and hot cocoa are a great addition to cozying up under warm blankets.

To help with preparation, we found these handy silicone molds that will shape cookie dough for you, reducing the amount of time it takes to get those batches going!

If you want to whip up a quick batch, this silicone mold is excellent for shaping cookie dough quickly and efficiently. After mixing up the dough, you simply press it into the shaper, seal the edges and then remove the top, revealing evenly shaped portions of cookie dough. From there, just load your baking tray and pop it into the oven. Soon you’ll have your baker's dozen!

For larger batches of cookies, the meatball mold can make up to 32 at once. We tested it and found that if you freeze the mold for a few hours after filling it, the dough pops out a little easier. You can also use it as temporary storage and freeze the dough in the event that you need to make more at a later time. You’ve heard of meal prepping, and we like to think dessert prepping is just as important! It’s super easy to clean and store, so unlike the sparkling lights and shiny tinsel, once the holiday season is over you don’t have to pack it away until next year!
