Lenox Just Introduced Charming New Pieces to Its Popular Spice Village Line
Including the #1 item fans asked to bring back.
Just when you thought the Lenox Spice Village relaunch last year was the collection's one and only resurgence since 1989, we're here to tell you that something even more special is coming your way.
Lenox dropped multiple additions to the Spice Village series this year — from canisters to accent plates and now even holiday decor — allowing Spice Village fans and collectors alike to show their enthusiasm for nostalgia and cottagecore style in more ways than just the iconic 24-Piece Spice Jar Set. And fans are certainly impressed — the canisters have already sold out once, so it's best to get your hands on them ASAP!
Similar to the porcelain spice jars, the Lenox Village House Canisters were originally a collector's item from 1990, gaining popularity for their whimsy and dollhouse-like figural style. And while collectors are thrilled to have gotten their hands on the 24-piece Spice Village set after the discontinuation 35 years ago, returning the canisters was another popular request that Lenox abided by. Now, fans can buy these delightful, candy-colored canisters in a set of three for $150 on the Lenox website, recapturing the charm of the original canisters introduced decades ago.
There are some minor updates to the new Lenox Village House Canisters that ensure the pieces remain evergreen and timeless for new generations to come. The original canisters featured labels at the top to categorize their contents (i.e., coffee, tea, sugar, etc.); meanwhile, the new-and-improved canisters are blank. Despite each one being distinctive in size and hand-painted botanical details, customers have the freedom to use the canisters however they see fit, even beyond the kitchen. Lenox recommends office supplies, small accessories or even pet treats.
Stepping away from the 'everything-old-is-new-again' theme, Lenox debuted brand-new holiday-themed pieces that bring a festive flair to the collection. Now you can add Spice Village charm to your Christmas tree with the Lenox Village Ornament, adorned with holly wreaths, bows, candlelit windows and "2025" text on the front. Or make even more of a statement with the Lenox Village Christmas Lit House and Church, evoking the same dollhouse-like motif as the Spice Village but in bigger home decor accents. And finally, you can bring the Spice Village to your holiday tablescape with the Christmas Train Server, composed of four separate cars that line up to create a cheerful display of your favorite candies, knick-knacks and more.
The charming beauty of these pieces continue to capture the hearts of many and are notorious for selling out fast. We recommend entering your email on the site to be notified immediately of the next drop before thyme runs out again!
