1 large banana, preferably frozen (peel before freezing)
1 to 2 dates, optional
Blend the almond milk, kale, almond butter, banana, dates if using and 3 ice cubes in a blender on low speed until everything begins to combine. Raise the setting to high and blend until everything is well combined and the smoothie begins to have a creamy consistency. Taste; if you like it colder, add more ice cubes and continue to blend until smooth.
