Place the oats, almond milk, ice cubes, cinnamon, salt, dates and banana in a high-powered blender and blend until a thick smoothie forms, about 1 minute. Pour into a chilled serving glass.
Cook’s Note
If you'd like your smoothie to have a thinner and smoother consistency, grind the oatmeal alone first for about 30 seconds, until it is ground down into small pieces, then blend with the remaining ingredients.
