Reserved pineapple juice from canned pineapple chunks from Grilled Fruit Skewers recipe

1/2 orange, juiced

4 maraschino cherries, plus 2 tablespoons of syrup from the jar

1 liter ginger ale

4 ounces rum

4 pineapple chunks, reserved from Grilled Fruit Skewers recipe



  1. In a large pitcher, combine the pineapple juice, orange juice, maraschino syrup and the ginger ale. Pour into glasses filled with ice, then add the rum and stir.
  2. Garnish with a cherry and a pineapple chunk on a skewer.
