On this trip, Guy Fieri's crossing the continent, starting in Lahaina, Hawaii, where the whole Fieri family revisits a funky noodle joint for some surprising soup at their new beachfront address. Then, it's a double dose of Chicago spots with an Italian eatery that's crankin' out calamari and makin' all kinds of mussels and a Korean-American burger joint going crazy with their kimchi.
This trip, Guy Fieri's hitting up some small towns with big flavor. In Parkland, Wis., the roadside bar serving sandwiches stuffed with the bomb brisket and crispy pork belly. In Jackson, Wyo., the organic spot dishin' out ethnic-inspired eats, like the Asian bison bowl and Thai curry soup. And in Lancaster, Ore., the farmland favorite firing up a monster burger and a unique twist on pizza.
Guy Fieri heads all over the country as we revisit some his favorites from the road: Including an old-school cafeteria in the south cranking out 3rd generation southern classics; The pizzeria in Chicago, breaking the local rules with thin crust pizzas; The 80 year old Baltimore legend doin’ dogs Coney Island style; and the Texas carwash/Laundromat servin’ up world class lamb burgers.
Noah Cappe gets the royal treatment with "ye olde eats" at the Hoggetown Medieval Faire in Gainesville, Fla. Meat is all over the menu, and Noah goes wild for the Smoked Bison Burger and the Wild Boar Leg. Then he heads to Rodeo Austin for some weird treats like Armadillo Eggs, Cookie Dough Dream and a road trip to deliciousness called the I-35 Chili Jar.
Noah Cappe is at the Eastern Carolina Agricultural Fair in Florence, S.C., where the Calzagna has him dancing for joy. He then peels into a Deep Fried Philly Blossom, gets hot for a Smokin' Okra Burger and investigates the Deep Fried Banana Pudding. Next, at the Mountain Mandarin Festival in Auburn, Calif., the launches into the Atomic Habanero Tots, The Big Yum and a Mandarin Cheesecake Pizza.
Anthony Anderson is in Sacramento, Calif. for the county fair, where he finds cowboys aplenty and enough carnival treats to feed the whole Golden State. He dives into the deep end of carnival food with a burger with a "cheese skirt" and a bacon-topped cinnamon roll sundae. In between bites, he learns how to milk a cow and rides the most daring ride at the midway.
