Calexico Tailgate

Episode | From: Guy's Ranch Kitchen
When Guy Fieri can't make it to the stadium for a good tailgate party, he does the next best thing and invites his all-star chef buddies to cook and eat outside at his ranch. The chefs put a Cal-Mex spin on tailgate food, starting with Eric Greenspan's breakfast burritos with made-from-scratch spicy chorizo. Eric also infuses the sweet and tangy flavor of tamarind and chipotle into the pork in his carnitas torta. Richard Blais pairs the rich and complicated flavors of black mole with the charred sweetness of roasted carrot and then puts a Latin spin on cheesy poutine. Carl Ruiz roasts papaya for a sweet and tangy escabeche and serves up beefy picadillo-stuffed plantains. Finally, Antonia Lofaso makes a spicy seafood tostada, and her decadent dessert combines all the best parts of a sundae with rice pudding.

Ay Mami

Episode | From: Kitchen Undercover
Abby and Jorge's Latin-inspired brunch spot, Mami Mosas, may be serving up good vibes in West Covina, Calif., but behind the scenes, the couple is losing money month after month. When Chef Antonia Lofaso sends her sous-chef Nestor Milian undercover, they find a small staff steadily pumping out food and smiling servers. But inside the kitchen, cooks have been poorly trained, cleanliness standards are nonexistent, and roaches have made themselves at home. With Abby and Jorge failing to give their inexperienced team the tools they need to succeed, Antonia fears Mami Mosas is just one Health Department visit away from being shut down. Now, she must clean up the kitchen, train the staff, and push Abby and Jorge to become the leaders their restaurant needs before Mami Mosas is forced to close its doors forever.

Trick or Treat Eats

Episode | From: Sandwich King
If there's one ghoul with a passion for the freaky fun, food and sweets of Halloween, it's Jeff Mauro. And the scary good times are only fueled by the costumed excitement of his young son, Lorenzo. So Jeff heads downtown to do his homework at a place that makes a frighteningly large array of sweet cookies and delicious Halloween-themed ice cream sandwiches. He gets a lesson in some key autumn flavor combos, then heads home and gets busy with some sweet/savory Halloween combo sandwiches to feed Lorenzo and his friends before they head out to trick or treat the neighborhood. The classic flavors of a caramel apple go devilishly well with bacon in his haunted take on a Panini. Then, an eyeball-shaped ham sandwich that stares back at you and Mummy Aki Chicken Fingers straight from the tomb of King Tut will keep his little goblins fueled and focused to bring back bags stuffed with candy.

All American Meat

Episode | From: Meat & Potatoes
To kick off the second season of Meat & Potatoes, Food Network chef Rahm Fama heads out across the nation in search of All American Meat. His culinary crusade takes him to unique eateries from coast to coast, as he sinks in incisors into some of the best meat in the country. To start, Rahm takes his carnivorous quest to Old Original Nick's Roast Beef, a 70-year old, Philadelphia institution serving up simple, succulent sandwiches that are so good the locals have developed their own language for ordering. Then he heads to Founding Farmers, a Washington D.C. eatery owned by 42,000 American family farmers. There, chef Al Nappo is using grass-fed, sustainable beef to create single servings of the Colonial classic, Yankee Pot Roast. To wrap up the episode, Rahm touches down in Los Angeles, where newcomer Chili Addiction is spooning out over 90 varieties of American's favorite one pot dish.
