Guy Fieri invites eight of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives' best chefs to compete to become the first-ever DDD Legends Champion. The chefs must conquer five culinary stops on Guy's virtual Flavortown 500 racecourse, starting with Guilty Pleasure Place. Using a hubcap as a shopping basket, the competitors who manage to prepare a judge-pleasing guilty pleasure will continue their race for the $30,000 grand prize. But the chefs who rank last must fight for survival in the elimination round, creating a second guilty pleasure that features the flavor on the back of their chosen license plate.
It's freshman week at Guy Fieri's Flavortown Academy, and culinary "professors" Jet Tila and Antonia Lofaso have each chosen to mentor three home cooks in hopes that one of their students will ultimately win the $35,000 graduation prize. This week's course is "How to Budget," and the teams must prove they can cook a party platter on a budget. The winning class gets a free pass to the sophomore class, while the three students in the losing class must compete against each other to stay in the tournament.
Guy Fieri invites all-star pizza maestro Chef Christian Petroni to Flavortown to help officiate a throwdown between three pizza-making pros. After making a special delivery of whammy pizza ingredients, Guy and Christian put in an order for the competitors' signature pizzas. Then, Guy brings out the Pizza Wheels of Doom to determine the type of pizza the chefs have to make, and the one with the highest-scoring pies will get the chance to win some serious dough!
Guy Fieri and his son Hunter take a trip down GGG memory lane and rewatch the second Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives Tournament from their ranch in Northern California. They reminisce, riff and play armchair quarterback as 16 DDD chefs compete to see who will be crowned the champion.
Guy Fieri welcomes four previous winners back to Flavortown Market for a non-stop super battle. He gives them each $100 to make a complete steakhouse feast in 60 minutes, but first, they have to participate in a Flavortown whammy auction. Chefs must spend a minimum of $40 on a whammy ingredient they don't really want to avoid getting stuck with a worse item. Whatever they end up with must be used in both their appetizer and entrée. The chef who serves up the best feast will get to shop Flavortown Market for up to $20,000.

Guy Fieri sets up the ultimate face-off with a relay race between two chef teams. The chefs work as a tag team, with each teammate working one at a time in 10-minute shifts. Only the first chef on each team is told they're making a spicy champion's dinner that must include four ingredients on Guy's grocery list. Working blind, the chefs in the later shifts must cook and present dishes based on their best guess of what the teammate before them was making. The team that successfully creates the most accurate version of the requested dish will go on a tag team shopping spree for up to $15,000!

Seven of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives' best chefs are still in the running to become the first DDD Legends Champion. The next stop on Guy Fieri's Flavortown 500 racecourse is Breakfast Boulevard, and the chefs who succeed in making a baller brunch, despite having to detour around the eggs, bacon and potato displays, get to continue their race for the $30,000 prize. The bottom two chefs must flip a list of iconic brunch ingredients into a weeknight dinner in the sudden-death elimination round.
