Guy Fieri and his son Hunter decide to take a trip down memory lane and watch one of their favorite GGG episodes: All-Star Vegetarian Games. Hunter surprises his dad by challenging him to cook along with the challenges featured in the show. Guy gets a taste of what he puts chefs through as Hunter makes sure his dad follows all the challenge rules and sticks to the 30-minute clock. GGG judge Justin Warner joins Guy to assess his dishes, compare them to the dishes in the episode and decide if Guy is able to keep up with his own challenges.
Guy Fieri lays out what may be the hardest challenge in Flavortown history: Three chefs can only use 26 ingredients -- one for each letter of the alphabet -- over the course of two rounds. In round one, the chefs must make a chicken dinner using 13 ingredients, each one starting with a different letter from A to M. Then, round two has the remaining two chefs create their go-to seafood dish using 13 ingredients starting with letters N to Z. The chef with the highest score after this one-of-a-kind culinary spelling bee will get a shot at winning $20,000.
Guy Fieri invites four chicken-fanatic chefs from his show Guy's Chance of a Lifetime to put their poultry skills to the test in two rounds of chicken dishes at Flavortown Market. First, the chefs are asked to make a fried chicken starter and shake using only ingredients from half of the store. Then, Guy and his son Hunter put a twist on an egg roll as the chefs toss an egg to determine the unusual ingredients they must use in their chicken dinner. Finally, the top chef gets a shot at winning up to $20,000 -- and that ain't chicken scratch!
Four chefs who lost GGG in their final cook the last time around return for a second chance at proving themselves. But this time, Guy Fieri has made success even harder to attain with two rounds of just 20 minutes to shop and cook! First, Guy asks the chefs to make a 20-minute appetizer, but he hits them with a grocery list of ingredients that gave them grief in their first appearances. Then the chefs must make a chicken dinner using limited ingredients, and the newly redeemed winner goes on a must-see wild shopping spree!
In the finale of Flavortown Market's Grand Reopening Tournament, the three top-scoring greatest-of-all-time chefs from Part 1 are back to take on another battle. Guy Fieri challenges them to make a comfort classic appetizer and a high-end entree in one hour using nine ingredients plus a mystery protein from Guy's son Hunter at the butcher shop. The judges score the appetizers, and then the chefs spin for a "wheely" special whammy item that they must use in their entree. The chef with the highest combined score after both rounds gets a chance to win up to $25,000!
Guy Fieri and his son Hunter are tired of people making resolutions to give up all the food they enjoy. So they declare Flavortown Market a resolution-free zone and, for the first time, invite home cooks -- not chefs -- to make the real-deal comfort dishes people crave. First, Guy makes the cooks pick a canned ingredient they have to incorporate into their no-restriction noodles. Then, Guy and Hunter let the competitors fulfill their fried fantasy while also fulfilling the demands of the Food Pyramid. After winning $10,000, the top-scoring cook resolves to return to Flavortown soon and hopefully win even more!
It's the end of Guy Fieri's Summer Games, so he has the three DDD finalists take a virtual summer road trip! The chefs cruise the store and stop at "roadside" stands to pick up state-inspired food items that they must feature in an upscale diner dish. Then the two top-scorers salute that iconic road trip destination, Las Vegas, by playing a budget version of blackjack -- with special guest dealer Hunter Fieri -- to determine how much they can spend on ingredients for their steak dinner. The chef with the highest score at the end of both rounds wins the $25,000 tournament jackpot!
Four chefs still have a shot at becoming the GGG Greatest of All Time and winning $70,000. Guy Fieri pairs the chefs into teams and spins the dish and game wheels to determine that they must make their best pork dish using only ingredients from the frozen section. The losing teammates face off in the elimination round by making a comfort classic using one ingredient from each aisle.
Guy Fieri's teenage son, Ryder, accidentally leaves behind a cart full of his favorite afterschool snacks, so Guy makes four talented, up-and-coming chefs incorporate the snacks into two rounds of GGG hijinks. First, the chefs have to make a weeknight dinner, and the three top-scoring young guns go on to play "Hoops There It Is," in which the number of baskets determines the number of ingredients they can use to make their victory dinner. The winning chef goes on a shopping spree that could change the course of their culinary career!
Guy Fieri and his son Hunter throw challenging games at three food fanatics who are out to prove that their sandwiches stack up against anything found in a restaurant. First, they make a Herculean hoagie despite the ingredient limit imposed by the express lane. Then, the competitors pick the type of sandwich they'll make with a wicked game of Menu Magnet Madness. The Sandwich King himself, Jeff Mauro, helps to crown the $10,000 winner, who is invited back to take on other winning food fanatics.
