It's part two of the Superstars tournament, and the theme is budget battle royale! The seven remaining celebrity chefs are each given $36.01 to buy their groceries, but should they spend it all on the initial "taco combo" challenge or keep money in reserve in case they must cook again in the Redemption Round? The three bottom chefs are forced to duke it out for survival by making a decadent dessert with whatever money they have left. In the end, one chef goes home and six move one step closer to winning $40,000 for charity.
The chefs must make their best dish using only ingredients that start with the letter S and it's not that simple! Next, they must prepare a lavish lunch that won't break their $10 budget. Then, the last two chefs standing must shop to make a comfort meal while trading carts in a chaotic game of Musical Carts.
Guy Fieri has invited four members of his Triple D family to Flavortown for a Holiday Throwdown. First, Guy plays Secret Santa and gives the chefs gift boxes containing the unique ingredients they must use in their holiday ham dish. Then, they all receive stockings filled with sweets and treats that must be included in their family holiday dinner. The winning chef gets to deck their shopping cart with up to $20,000!
All-Star chefs Ron Ben-Israel, Penny Davidi, Pat Neely and Justin Warner compete to win up to $20,000 for charity. First up, chefs must make their favorite lunch using a ridiculous Red Light Special. Next, chefs must rummage through the Clearance Carts to make their best noodle dish. Finally, who will reign supreme making their showstopping dinner using the four uncanny ingredients from the Fieri Food Pyramid?
Four cheese-obsessed chefs go "Romano e mano" in two Muenster-sized cheese challenges. First, Guy Fieri rolls a cheese die to determine how many different types of cheese the chefs must use in their over-the-top cheesy dish. Then, the chefs shop the sample tables to select cheese-flavored products to include in their cheesy winner's dinner. The winning chef earns a lot of "cheddar," and everyone "crackers" up at all the cheesy jokes, unless they're "laugh-tose" intolerant.
Guy Fieri invites three of the best all-star chefs to take on a 60-minute multi-course fruit showdown! The chefs are given a whopping $100 each to make a fruit-forward appetizer and entrée, but before they can cook, they must compete in a fruit auction. Chefs outbid each other to earn exclusive rights to the fruit they must feature in all of their dishes. After the auction is over, Guy gives the chefs an extra $10 to whip up a fruit-forward dessert before the hour is up! The all-star whose dishes best celebrate their fruit will get a shot at winning $20,000.
Guy Fieri welcomes three GGG winners known for their craveable dishes and asks them to make their signature guilty pleasure using a maximum of 7 pounds of ingredients. What the chefs don't know is this is winner-take-all challenge, and two of the chefs are eliminated, while the winner earns an automatic $15,000. Plus, the winning chef is given a chance to earn even more money if they can outcook the judge of their choice in a decadent dinner challenge featuring the whammy ingredient of their choice.
Three of Guy Fieri's favorite DDD chefs and three of the hottest GGG winners compete tag-team style in 10-minute shifts to create a winner's pork dinner. The first shift chef shops for a favorite snack food and piece of equipment selected by a roll of the culinary dice. After each shift, the chefs are given a shot at non-verbal communication by acting out charades or holding up random food props. Ultimately, the team that creates the best and most accurate pork plate will go on a relay shopping spree worth up to $15,000!
Three experienced grill masters are ready to fight fire with fire in hopes of defeating each other, and ultimately an all-star GGG judge, in an epic grill-off. First, Guy Fieri asks the chefs to shop for ingredients for a hometown grill-down using heavy-duty grill mitts. The winning chef earns an automatic $15,000 and a shot at earning up to $5,000 more, but only if they can beat the GGG judge of their choice in a high-end grilled dinner cook-off, featuring colorful ingredients dictated by Guy's color wheel.
The culinary skills of all-star chefs Shota Nakajima, Adam Sobel, and Britt Rescigno are tested to the limit in the most extreme express lane challenge ever. Guy Fieri gives the chefs one hour to make an upscale appetizer, entree, and dessert using a total of only 12 ingredients! The winner gets to shop Flavortown Market for up to $20,000.
