TikTok is saving us some time and effort with a watermelon gadget that has gone seriously viral – and costs less than $13.

A video posted by user @corripowell shows a nifty device briskly windmilling a watermelon into neat little cubes. In a little more than a week, the strangely mesmerizing video has been liked by more than 134,800 people, shared by 12,000 and garnered more than 500 comments.

There were those who called the automatic watermelon cuber “a game changer!!” and “def the coolest kitchen gadget.”

“I need this,” more than a few people declared.

“What’s this called and how do I get it?” someone wondered, presumably speaking for many.

Well, we have answers.

The Yueshico Stainless Steel Watermelon Slicer is actually a bestseller on Amazon with a $12.77 price tag, 1,360 ratings (4.5 out of 5 stars, overall) and many more mesmerizing user-uploaded videos showing the device in action.

“Your best solution for eating watermelon,” the product page boasts, “… [a] wonderful and novelty tool [that allows] quick cutting and serving of watermelon, honeydew etc.”

We tried the gadget for ourselves and we can say that it’s just as magical as it looks. The Food Network editor-favorite tool doesn’t have any sharp edges, so it’s safe for kids (and klutzes in the kitchen).

Try the gadget out for yourself. And quick – before you have to wait another year for those sweet summer melons.
