TikTok's Latest Must-Have Gadget Makes Cooking Prep Organization a Breeze

If you love to peruse TikTok for the latest viral recipes and other food and kitchen trends, chances are you’re familiar with a new elaborate meal prep kit that’s taking the social media platform by storm.
The gadget, which is called The Prepdeck has appeared in dozens of TikTok videos over the past several months and “#prepdeck” has more than 9.5 million views. Naturally, many of the video clips show The Prepdeck in action, paying special attention to its many helpful functions and uses.
As its name implies, The Prepdeck is basically a tool that contains everything you need to assemble your necessary ingredients before you start cooking. To that end, it boasts a grater, zester, juicer, slicer, garlic grater, vegetable peeler, julienne, green stripper and bottle opener, all contained within a portable 21-by-6-inch box. It also includes a built-in holder for your phone.

And that’s just the start. The Prepdeck also features 15 microwave-safe containers of various sizes, which are marked with measurements, that can be attached to the aforementioned utensils for a ridiculously easy clean up. The containers, which you can store in your refrigerator until you’re ready to use them, are also dishwasher-safe.
Additionally, the base sports a removable trash compartment, a utensil holder and a cover that doubles as a cutting board when unfolded, which can be easily detached when you need to clean it.
Amazon’s version of this multi-functional item (which is currently sold out thanks to increased demand) even sports a stylish marble print so The Prepdeck will look chic on your kitchen counter or inside your fridge. It also comes in other colors and patterns like mint, rosé and birch.
If you’re not using it for mise en place, one TikTok user showed how she used her Prepdeck to portion out and organize various baking ingredients, such as flour, sugar and chocolate chips.
