So far this year, TikTok has blessed us with a number of mouth-watering food trends: dalgona coffee, sweet potato brownies and five-ingredient cookies, to name a few.

Now, amateur baristas on the app have introduced yet another delicious craze: White Claw slushies. That’s right — folks are whipping up icy hard seltzer cocktails.

The recipe for a White Claw slushie simply consists of three ingredients: a White Claw of your choice, frozen fruit and hard liquor (typically vodka). Throw your ingredients into your blender with some ice for a smooth, boozy drink.

We noticed that one of the most popular variations involves blending a mango-flavored White Claw with frozen mango and vodka; however, TikTokers are certainly getting more creative with their boozy drinks, swapping in everything from sparkling water to pink lemonade vodka. As exciting as the latest TikTok trend may be (who doesn’t love a fruity, booze-infused drink?), before you break out your blender it’s important to note that for best results, you should aim to complement the flavor of your White Claw with a matching frozen fruit. Amanda Neal, a recipe developer for Food Network, suggests using the following frozen fruits to coincide with the main White Claw flavors:

Black Cherry: Frozen pitted cherries and strawberries

Ruby Grapefruit: Frozen bananas and dragon fruit

Natural Lime: Frozen mango and pineapple chunks

Raspberry: Frozen blueberries and raspberries

Amanda also shared a few other helpful tips sure to make your wildest White Claw slushie fantasies come true. She recommends using a high-speed blender to achieve that perfect “slushie” texture. If you don’t have one, just be sure to blend your slushie on high speed until evenly and finely crushed.

Tip number two? Opt for crushed ice rather than whole ice cubes when crafting your slushie. “This will also help evenly blend your slushie,” Amanda says. “Plus, it will save the blades in your blender carafe from becoming dull.”

Like we mentioned, most of the slushies we’ve spotted on TikTok incorporate vodka to the mix, which makes sense since White Claws are made with a vodka base. However, Amanda says that other liquors (such as tequila, rum and gin) would also be tasty.

We’re already dreaming of all the potential slushie possibilities.
