Say Hello to White Claw’s Newest Flavor: Passion Fruit

Heads up, passionate White Claw fans looking for something new and different. The hard seltzer brand has just launched a new flavor: Passion Fruit.
On Wednesday, the “spiked sparkling water” brand took to Instagram to tease a new flavor it said would soon be “making waves,” inviting people to guess at what it might be. Guesses included “Guava” and “Dragon Fruit,” among others, but the most frequent prediction — “Passion Fruit” — proved to be the correct answer.
Only a short while later, the brand confirmed the new flavor — which, like previous flavors, is gluten-free, 100 calories and 5 percent ABV — in a follow up post. “You asked, we delivered. Passion Fruit White Claw is here! Now in Variety Pack No. 2,” it captioned a black-and-white video of a giant wave crosscut with an image of a can of the new flavor.
The responses were swift and excited:
“Omg!!” wrote one White Claw fan, punctuating the exclamation with three heart-eye smileys.
“Yesss,” enthused another, adding clap-hands and a heart.
“Yasss so excited,” echoed a third.
“blessss …. can’t wait to try this,” shared a fourth, with a smiley face.
Some folks had questions, which White Claw patiently answered:
Yes, the new flavor is out now.
Yes, you can find it at “retailers nationwide.”
And yes, Mango was removed from Variety Pack No. 2 (a 12-pack that also includes Watermelon, Lemon and Tangerine) in order to make room for Passion Fruit. But “don’t worry,” the brand reassures, Mango White Claw is “still in VP No. 3!”
The early customer reviews seem super positive, overall. One commenter who had a chance to try the new flavor has deemed it “delicious.” Another said it is “one of my fav flavors for sure.”
