A few years ago, I considered myself a full-blown peanut butter addict. I would slather peanut butter on everything and, quite frankly, considered almond butter to be a less-satisfying alternative. However, I was forced to reevaluate my stance when peanuts began to cause some digestive issues that almonds (and other nuts) did not.

Dismayed, I ditched my peanut butter and began trying every brand of almond butter I could find, until I landed on one that truly blew me away: Woodstock Smooth Dry Roasted Almond Butter. Without a doubt, this is the absolute best almond butter in the business: creamy, flavorful and made without any extra ingredients or additives. It’s so delicious that I actually look forward to eating it — and that makes it easier to eat healthier, too.

Just one spoonful upgrades basically everything, especially fresh fruits and healthy snacks. I like to dollop a spoonful on top of oatmeal, swirl some into Greek yogurt, or use it as a dip for apples and bananas. When I’m craving something sweeter, I’ll stuff a medjool date with a smear of almond butter and a few chocolate chips, which absolutely does the trick. I will admit that a jar of Woodstock’s almond butter comes with a bigger price tag, but I truly think it’s worth it when the results are this good.

To be honest, I don’t miss peanut butter at all since I found this particular almond butter. Once you try it, you’ll see what I mean. Happy (healthy) snacking!
