This Childhood Snack Is Ready for a Seat at the Grown Ups' Table

You may associate Sun-Maid, the brand behind those cute red boxes of raisins, with kids’ lunches, but now the brand is making a play for your grown-up charcuterie board.
The farmer-owned cooperative behind the century-old brand, Sun-Maid Growers of California, has just launched a new line of Charcuterie Pairings — arriving right on time for the fall and holiday party season.
“The perfectly portioned packs make it easy for shoppers to build beautiful charcuterie boards for festive gatherings or everyday occasions,” the brand promises.
What are Sun-Maid’s new Charcuterie Pairings products?
Designed to complement meat and cheese boards, the line of Charcuterie Pairings includes four convenient, portioned pouches featuring “sweet and tangy” combinations of dried berries, other dried fruits and yogurt-covered raisins:
- Dried Apricots, Blueberries and Cranberries
- Dried Apricots, Dried Blueberries and Vanilla Yogurt Covered Raisins
- Dried Cherries, Banana Chips and Chocolate Yogurt Covered Raisins
- Dried Cranberries, Dried Cherries and Chocolate Yogurt Covered Raisins
On each 4.5-ounce package, the brand has also included pairing ideas to help consumers assemble an entertainment-ready charcuterie plate, tray or board featuring dried fruit, meat and cheese, crackers and other items.
